Fashion brands frequently derive inspiration from local cultures - and Projet1826 does it spectacularly, with stylish nods towards Asian fashion and comfort. The brand also invests heavily in sustainability; they support local farms by educating them on how to reduce waste. Their sandals are crafted of the unused remains of latex in sticky collection cans, and their leather is sourced from farm-raised cows and lambs used for meat and milk.
