Peace Patterns (2022)
Soh Ee Shaun
In response to ‘The Non Season’, I am exploring the development of patterns using colours and the grid as a structure. These mindful drawings reflect and record the passage of time, creating a sense of rhythm and energy, and also the tension between movement and stillness, randomness and order, and precision versus chance. Through the process, I hope to reimagine the possibilities of pattern as a timeless, non-seasonal structure, and as an object of contemplation and meditation.
Sustainability note: Large scale vinyl stickers are not reusable.
