Kirigami Carp Lamp Workshop

[Cancelled]

18 September, 2pm

According to historical records, Ye Xianggao was an official in the Ming Dynasty known for being loving and tender. Despite several setbacks throughout his career, Ye Xianggao overcame the struggles; his career as a minister was long and prosperous, lasting not one, but three dynasties. He also had a tradition of rearing carp as a symbol for luck and longevity. According to tradition even further back from the Tang dynasty, it was believed only the rare yellow Koi had the potential to transform into a dragon. The carp is a symbol of luck and longevity. This lamp embodies these symbols of prosperity as it shines its light in your home.
